the sharon food justice garden

is a collaborative project operated by Emergence, the Regeneration Corps, and The Sharon Academy. Each year, we use the space to grow hundreds of pounds of fresh produce that are distributed to the community for free via the Sharon Food Shelf, the South Royalton Community Fridge, and our Community Kitchen program!

The garden is dually geared towards production and education, and it also serves as an educational space for the UVM Extension Master Gardener Program. Whether you’re a seasoned grower or just diving into the wonderful world of gardening, we would love to have your help at the FJG!

Open sessions are Tuesday evenings from 4-7, and Friday mornings from 10-12. To access the garden, pull into our neighbors’ driveway at 2564 VT-14 in Sharon, then hang a left into the hay field and follow the tire tracks to the fenced in garden space.
